Babywearing Week Bushwalk
Award Category : Babywearing in Regional Communities Award
Hosted by: Vanessa Huang
>>>Facebook Event<<<
Location: Buffalo Creek Reserve and Great North Walk
10.00 am – 12.00 pm
(wet weather alternative: None, byo poncho if raining!)

Come and join other babywearers on a short but delightful bushwalk on part of Sydney’s most famous hiking trail – The Great North Walk.

We will meet at Buffalo Creek Reserve near the playground and walk to Fairyland (near Lane Cove National Park) and back. The trip is fairly easy, some stairs and uphill bits but lots of level too. 2km each way. People who want to walk further can easily continue the track through the Lane Cove National Park (or to Newcastle) if they want.

Bring some water and something to eat – we will stop and picnic as the need arises! Also a good idea to bring hats, sunscreens etc if it’s a hot day.

Nominated Charity Group: Mums@Ryde  The consumer group supporting the Ryde Midwifery Group Practice, promoting and supporting normal, natural, nonintervention birth and parenting.
